Emburse Assurance is a Captio add-on that adds advanced, AI-powered controls to help detect potential expense issues.
Activation
To activate Emburse Assurance, contact your account manager.
Once the service is activated:
- Alerts will be disabled by default.
- An administrator must configure and activate the alerts they want to use.
Configuring alerts
From the administration menu, go to Alerts → Emburse Assurance.
From this section, administrators can:
- Activate or deactivate each alert according to the organization's needs.
- Configure specific parameters for certain alerts, such as the tip percentage.
- Define which workflows each alert should be applied to.
- Configure different alerts for each step of a workflow.
This way, each team receives only the alerts relevant to the corresponding workflow and review stage.
Important considerations
- Alerts will only be displayed in the workflows and steps where they have been configured.
- Alerts do not affect the skip step functionality.
- AI-generated explanations are displayed in the user's language.
- Alerts are not yet included in CSV or PDF exports.
Upcoming improvements
Emburse Assurance continues to evolve. Improvements to controls for expenses incurred outside of business hours, attendee verification on receipts, and feedback mechanisms will be added soon.
