Web Release Notes: August 29, 2025

This release focuses on improving travel logs, enhancing PerDiem handling, and resolving key defects reported by customers.

Highlights

  • Improved visibility of delegation in travel logs.
  • Enhanced PerDiem management in user permissions and hour handling.
  • Fixes for payment methods and travel custom fields.

New Features

Travel

Delegation visibility in travel logs

Travel logs now indicate when an action was performed by a delegate on behalf of another user. This ensures auditability and improves clarity for approval workflows.

Administration

Improved PerDiem permissions

Administrators can now assign existing PerDiem policies to users when editing user permissions, even if they do not have rights to manage the policies themselves. This supports companies with complex PerDiem structures.

EmburseBook workflows

In environments with EmburseBook activated, travel workflows are hidden from user and workflow setup screens to avoid conflicts with the EmburseBook travel module.

Improvements

PerDiem

Correct time handling

PerDiem hours on the web are now shown consistently without applying timezone conversions, aligning with how the mobile app displays them.

Travel logs

Correct timezone display

Travel logs now display times in the configured timezone of the acting user. In cases of delegation, the delegate’s timezone is shown.

Fixes

  • Custom fields in travel module: Fixed an issue where custom list fields with filters did not save correctly when creating travel requests.
  • Payment methods: Fixed an issue where enabling or disabling a payment method via the configuration checkbox was not saving correctly.
  • Travel log timestamps: Fixed incorrect UTC-based timestamps; logs now use the user’s local timezone.
